The best Odoo partner for a company is the one that meets these five criteria with evidence you can check. It has done real work in your type of business. It can set up Thai accounting and tax on the current Odoo version. It customises without making upgrades painful. It has a support team in Thailand with an SLA. And it shows you the total cost over 3 to 5 years, not only the implementation fee.
No partner is the best for every company. The Gold and Silver levels on the Odoo website are based mainly on new users sold per year, and they say nothing about whether a partner understands your business. What works is asking every partner the same questions and asking for proof.
This guide is written by Enersys, so we give our own evidence for each criterion, say where you can check it, and state our limits. You can use the same table to compare other partners. For a detailed guide to reading partner profiles on odoo.com, see how to choose an Odoo partner in Thailand.

Criterion 1: real work in your type of business
Ask for at least two references in your industry or of a similar size, and ask to speak to them. "We have worked across many industries" cannot be checked. A customer you can phone can.
On 13 Oct 2026, the panel Odoo shows on our profile listed 6 references: 3 in manufacturing and maintenance, 2 in wholesale and retail, and 1 in health care and pharmaceuticals. Projects average 35 users, the largest has more than 200, and customer retention is 100%.
One project we can describe is a manufacturing business with 156 users, where Odoo had to connect to the factory MES. Read Odoo for 156 users in manufacturing.
You should also know that 2026 is our second year working with Odoo. Before that, we built and ran business software from 2012. If your business is outside the three groups above, ask us directly how close our past work is.
Criterion 2: Thai accounting and tax
Ask to see real output from the Odoo version you will run, not slides. What Odoo can do for Thai tax depends on the version.
According to the Odoo 19.4 Thailand localization documentation, the Thai package supports:
- A Thai chart of accounts, 7% VAT, 0% VAT for exports and withholding tax
- P.P.30, PND3 and PND53 exported as CSV for the Revenue Department RD Prep app
- Withholding tax certificates (50 Tawi) as PDF
- Tax invoices showing the head office or branch code, and PromptPay QR codes
Odoo 19.0 does not have 50 Tawi or P.P.30 in this package. If a partner proposes an older version, ask how they will handle these two.
e-Tax Invoice and e-Receipt are not part of Odoo's Thai package. At Enersys we deliver them through our own connection with a certified service provider. The full detail is in Thai accounting and tax in Odoo.
Criterion 3: customisation that does not burden upgrades
Odoo releases a new version every year. Every piece of custom work has to be tested and fixed at each upgrade, so the more you customise, the more each upgrade costs. A good partner has to be willing to tell you what not to customise.
Before we quote, we build a Fit-Gap Backlog. We compare, line by line, how your business works with what standard Odoo does. Every gap is numbered, with what is missing, what it costs to close, and which gaps we advise you to handle by changing the process instead of writing code. The document is yours to keep, even if you choose another partner.
Where development is needed, we build separate modules under a development process certified to ISO/IEC 29110, and only for what standard Odoo does not cover. The team writing that code is the same team that has built business software since 2012. If you are planning an upgrade, read Odoo 20 is here, but does your sales process still work?
Criterion 4: a support team in Thailand with a clear SLA
Odoo asks partners to be the first line of support for their customers. When something breaks, the first call goes to your partner. Odoo's own support, according to its pricing page, is by email, Monday to Friday, in English, French, Spanish or Dutch. That makes the partner's Thai team more important than many buyers expect.
Our team works from the 20th floor of BB Building, Sukhumvit 21 (Asok), Bangkok. After go-live there is a Hypercare phase of 30 to 60 days with a dedicated team and an SLA written into the contract. After that, the project moves to long-term support and version upgrades.
Our SLA has four severity levels, measured as resolution time:
| Level |
Description |
Resolution time |
Examples |
| 1 Critical |
Complete outage or major functionality unavailable, severely affecting users |
4 hours |
System down, data corruption, critical features inaccessible |
| 2 High |
Significant issue causing partial disruption or impairing a critical feature |
8 hours |
Slow performance, errors affecting multiple users |
| 3 Medium |
Some impact on operations, but a workaround exists |
2 business days |
Minor bugs, non-critical features malfunctioning |
| 4 Trivial |
Minimal impact, general questions or enhancement requests |
5 business days |
UI inconsistencies, documentation requests, suggestions |
If you want us to run the servers too, we manage Odoo ourselves on cloud infrastructure located in Thailand, as described in Odoo Cloud managed by Enersys. When comparing partners, ask each one for a table like this, and ask whether their times are for response or for resolution. The two are very different.
Criterion 5: value over 3 to 5 years
The cheapest quote in year one can be the most expensive by year three. Ask every partner to split the yearly total cost into five parts:
- The Odoo subscription per user, published at odoo.com/pricing
- Implementation and data migration
- Custom module development
- Yearly support and hosting
- Version upgrades, which depend on how much was built in part 3
At Enersys, part 3 comes straight from the Fit-Gap Backlog, so you see the price of each gap and decide which ones are worth closing. We do not publish a fixed price because it depends on users, modules, data and the systems to connect. The full pricing structure is explained in how much Odoo costs.
Outside evidence you can check
- Odoo gave Enersys the Best Starter APAC award at the Odoo Awards 2026, on stage at Odoo Experience 2026 in Brussels on 26 September 2026. Read about the award.
- Enersys ranked in the Top 3 in Thailand on the Odoo Partner Leaderboard for Q2 2026.
- Our odoo.com profile shows Silver level, 100% customer retention and 6 references. The side panel data comes from Odoo, not from text we wrote.
We are probably not your partner if
- You are choosing on the lowest price alone.
- You want to go live in six weeks without changing a single process.
- You need a partner with many years on Odoo. This is our second year, though our team has built business software since 2012.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the best Odoo partner in Thailand?
It depends on your business, so compare partners with the five criteria in this guide. Enersys is an official Odoo Silver Partner in Bangkok, winner of Best Starter APAC at the Odoo Awards 2026 and Top 3 in Thailand on the Q2 2026 Partner Leaderboard, with references in manufacturing, wholesale and retail, and pharmaceuticals.
Is a Gold partner always better than Silver?
Not always. Levels are based on new Odoo Enterprise users per year, the number of certified experts and minimum retention. They do not measure how well a partner knows your industry, so look at references and project size too.
Where does Enersys work?
Our team is in Bangkok. If your company is elsewhere in Thailand, talk to us about how we would work together.
To put these five criteria to us directly, see the scope on our Odoo ERP implementation in Thailand page or contact the Enersys team.
