How Much Does Odoo Cost in 2026? Per-User Licences, Implementation and the Costs to Plan For

Odoo costs come in three parts: the per-user subscription Odoo publishes, implementation work that depends on your scope, and hosting or custom development if you need them. This guide summarises the prices on Odoo's official pages and shows how to estimate a budget for your own company.

Odoo costs come in three parts. The first is the subscription, charged per user per month, which Odoo publishes on its official pricing page. The second is implementation, done by a partner or by Odoo's own team. The third is hosting and custom development, which you may or may not need. You can check the first part today; the other two depend on your scope.

Most people who search "odoo pricing" find only the first number, multiply it by headcount, and end up with a budget that is too low. This guide separates the three parts. Every figure comes from Odoo's own pages, which we checked on 11 October 2026. Prices and promotions change, so open the live pricing page again before you decide.

Odoo prices from the official pricing page

Odoo has three subscription plans, plus Odoo Community, which you can download and use for free. Prices are per user per month, and you can pay yearly or monthly.

On currency: both the Thai and English pricing pages we opened showed prices in US dollars (US$), not Thai baht. If you have seen baht figures elsewhere, treat them as that site's conversion and confirm with Odoo's pricing page or an Odoo advisor.

Plan Per user per month (billed yearly) Per user per month (billed monthly) What you get Hosting
One App Free US$ 0 US$ 0 One app, unlimited users Odoo Online
Standard US$ 13.50 (regular US$ 16.90) US$ 16.90 (regular US$ 21.10) All apps Odoo Online
Custom US$ 25.50 (regular US$ 32.00) US$ 32.00 (regular US$ 40.00) All apps, Odoo Studio, Agentic AI, multi-company, External API Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, On-premise
Odoo Community Free (open source) Free Core apps Install and run it yourself

Details to know before you put these numbers in a budget:

  • The first figure in each paid row is the discounted price. The pricing page says the discount is valid for 12 months, for the initial users ordered. If you are budgeting for several years, use the regular price in brackets for year two onwards.
  • The On-premise option for the Custom plan appears only with yearly billing.
  • If you host on Odoo.sh, the hosting cost is not included in the Custom price.
  • Odoo offers a Light User at US$ 5.90 for employees who only use a few functions, such as time off, expenses, attendance or inventory barcode scanning. To get it, you book a meeting with an Odoo advisor for a quote.
  • One App Free allows multiple companies, and you can pick Odoo Studio as your free app. If your chosen app depends on others (eCommerce needs Website and Invoicing), you get those for free too.
  • Installing more apps moves you from One App Free to Standard. Installing Studio or adding companies to the database moves you to Custom automatically.

Who counts as a paying user

Odoo counts a paying user as someone who uses the Odoo backend to create, view or edit documents, or an employee record in the HR app with no linked user. Odoo's own examples include an employee who reports expenses or timesheets, and an outside accountant who works on your books.

Customers and suppliers who view invoices on the portal, and website visitors who place eCommerce orders, are not paying users.

What the subscription includes

According to Odoo's pricing page, every plan includes hosting on Odoo Online, daily incremental backups on two continents, email integration, 24/7 monitoring, and version upgrades at no extra fee. Support is unlimited, by email, Monday to Friday, in English, French, Spanish or Dutch. Storage on Odoo Online goes up to 100GB.

Not included: Odoo.sh hosting for custom developments, implementation and expert services, In-App Purchase credits such as SMS and AI bill scanning, and maintenance of custom code.

What implementation cost depends on

The subscription pays for the right to use the software. Making it work for your business is separate work. Odoo describes implementation as project management, business needs analysis, data import, customisation, development and training.

Odoo's pricing page splits the options by company size. Small companies with fewer than 50 employees usually work directly with Odoo through Success Packs. Mid-size and large companies with more than 50 employees usually work with a partner who manages the project locally. Companies with more than 250 employees are asked to contact Odoo directly.

Odoo Success Pack prices

A Success Pack is a block of service hours from an Odoo consultant. The Success Packs page lists these prices:

Pack Hours New customers (15% off) Returning customers
Starter 4 hours US$ 390.00 US$ 458.82
Basic 25 hours US$ 2,040.00 US$ 2,400.00
Standard 50 hours US$ 3,570.00 US$ 4,200.00
Custom 100 hours US$ 6,375.00 US$ 7,500.00
Pro 200 hours US$ 12,750.00 US$ 15,000.00

The 15% discount applies to a new customer's first pack only. Travel is billed separately, and extra monthly charges apply for maintaining extra modules or lines of code. The project estimator on the same page covers companies up to 50 users and says most projects in that scope go live in 200 hours or less. Above 50 users, Odoo asks you to contact them for a deeper analysis.

For custom development or specific integrations, Odoo says you can work with Odoo or an official partner, and notes that "Partners usually charge for their services per day of consulting or development."

What makes implementation cost more or less

There is no single number that fits every company, because projects differ on these factors:

  • Users and departments. More departments mean more rounds of process discussion.
  • Number of modules. Accounting alone is a very different job from accounting, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing and HR together.
  • Data migration. Customers, products, opening balances and history. The messier the old data, the longer it takes.
  • Integrations, such as banks, online marketplaces, or legacy systems you still need.
  • Customisation of document layouts, reports and approval steps that differ from Odoo's standard.
  • Training: how many people, and how many sessions.
  • Post go-live support. The first weeks after launch usually bring the most questions.

Odoo Community vs Enterprise

Odoo's editions page describes Odoo Community as open source and Odoo Enterprise as licensed. Community is the core that Enterprise is built on, and you can switch versions at any time. The pricing page also says Odoo Online and Odoo Enterprise (on Odoo.sh or on-premise) are the same software; only hosting and infrastructure differ.

What Odoo's comparison table lists as Enterprise only:

  • Unlimited functional support, version upgrades and hosting
  • Android and iOS mobile apps
  • Full accounting (Community has invoicing and payments only)
  • Payroll, Documents, Sign, ESG, Subscriptions, Rental
  • Barcode, Quality, PLM, and the manufacturing Shopfloor features
  • Helpdesk, Field Service, Planning, Appointments, Knowledge, VoIP
  • Marketing Automation, Social Marketing and Studio

Available in both: CRM, Sales, Point of Sale, Website, eCommerce, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchase, Project, Timesheet, Employees, Recruitment and Time Off, among others.

Community has no licence fee, but you find your own hosting, run your own upgrades and fix your own problems. If your business needs full accounting, check this table before choosing Community, because that sits in Enterprise.

Costs that tend to show up later

Use this list to check your budget:

  • The price after the discount ends. The Standard and Custom discount lasts 12 months.
  • Odoo.sh hosting, priced by workers, storage and staging environments, separate from the licence. The Odoo.sh page states that the hosting price does not include the Enterprise licence.
  • Servers and staff if you go on-premise, where Odoo requires the latest stable version.
  • Maintenance of custom code. Upgrades are included in the plans; maintaining your own code is not.
  • In-App Purchase credits for SMS, contact autocomplete, lead generation and AI bill scanning.
  • Extra users as the company grows, including employees who log timesheets or expenses, since they count as paying users.
  • Thai-language help. Odoo's support runs in English, French, Spanish or Dutch. If your team needs help in Thai, plan for it separately.
  • Performance work. Odoo does not handle it through free support and requires a Success Pack of at least 50 hours.

How to estimate a budget for your company

  1. Count paying users by Odoo's definition. Separate staff who only use employee functions as possible Light Users, and leave out customers and suppliers who only use the portal.
  2. Pick a plan. If you need Studio, several companies in one database, external systems calling the Odoo API, or custom modules, look at Custom. If not, Standard may be enough.
  3. Pick where it runs. Odoo Online has no extra hosting fee, Odoo.sh is billed separately, and on-premise needs your own servers and people.
  4. Price year one at the discounted rate and year two at the regular rate, so renewal does not surprise you.
  5. Write down the scope: modules, data to migrate, systems to connect, documents and reports to adjust, and how many people need training.
  6. Send the same scope to Odoo or several partners for quotes. Quotes are only comparable when the scope is the same.
  7. Set aside a year-two budget for support, code maintenance, hosting and additional users.

Frequently asked questions

Does Odoo price in Thai baht?

The Thai and English pricing pages we opened on 11 October 2026 both showed prices in US$. If you need baht figures for a budget, ask an Odoo advisor or a partner, and check the live pricing page before deciding.

Can I really use Odoo for free?

Yes, in two ways. One App Free gives you one app on Odoo Online with unlimited users. Odoo Community is open source with no licence fee, but you install and run it yourself, and some apps such as full accounting are not included.

What is the difference between Standard and Custom?

Odoo says the Custom plan is for companies that manage multiple companies in one database and need to customise Odoo through Studio, agentic AI, custom development or the API. Standard includes all apps but runs on Odoo Online.

Do portal customers count as paying users?

No. Customers and suppliers who view invoices on the portal, and visitors ordering through your website, are not paying users.

How much does Odoo implementation cost?

It depends on scope. For small companies, Odoo publishes Success Pack prices from 4 to 200 hours. Partners usually charge per day. The way to get a realistic number is to write a clear scope and ask for quotes.
