What you'll do

  • Understand the client's business, workflows, pain points, and project goals

  • Run workshops or stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and analyze system needs

  • Analyze AS-IS processes and design TO-BE processes that fit the business

  • Perform GAP Analysis between current processes, existing systems, and target solutions

  • Translate business requirements into documents that development teams can execute

  • Prepare BRD, FSD, User Story, Use Case, User Flow, Business Flow, Acceptance Criteria, and Requirement Traceability documents

  • Design system flows with UX/UI, Developers, QA, and Solution Architects

  • Work with Developers to explain requirements, clarify scope, and validate solution direction

  • Work with QA to define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and system testing support

  • Support client UAT, gather feedback, issues, change requests, and recommendations

  • Track requirements, deliverables, and key project issues against plan

  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to PMs, project teams, and clients

  • Analyze the impact of change requests on scope, timeline, cost, and business processes

  • Recommend improvements to processes, systems, and user experience

  • Contribute to BA templates, standards, and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Functional Consultant, Product Analyst, Application Support, Project Coordinator, or related role

  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle or SDLC

  • Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery models

  • Ability to analyze requirements and turn them into clear documentation

  • Ability to write BRD, FSD, User Story, Use Case, Acceptance Criteria, or related system documents

  • Strong business process analysis and workflow design skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly with both business users and technical teams

  • Strong questioning, synthesis, summarization, and prioritization skills

  • High ownership, strong follow-through, and ability to work within project timelines

  • Comfortable using tools such as Figma, FigJam, Miro, Jira, Notion, Confluence, Draw.io, Excel, or Google Workspace

  • Ability to read English documents or communicate in English is a strong advantage

Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will bridge business and technology. You will understand client needs, analyze current processes, design improved workflows, prepare requirement documents, and work with technical teams so the system solves real client problems.

You will contribute across presales, discovery, requirement workshops, solution design, development, UAT, change requests, go-live support, and continuous improvement.

For Senior Business Analysts, the role expands into leading workshops, analyzing complex systems, shaping solution direction, performing GAP Analysis, assessing impact, controlling scope, and raising BA team standards.

  • Basic understanding of database relationships or ability to write basic SQL queries for data checking

  • UX/UI fundamentals or ability to create basic wireframes / prototypes

  • Experience with integration requirements such as API, Payment Gateway, Marketplace, Accounting System, or third-party systems

  • Understanding of Automation, RPA, AI, or Agentic AI concepts

  • Experience working with enterprise clients

  • Project management fundamentals or experience supporting scope, timeline, and change requests

  • Experience in a software house, consulting firm, or product company

Senior Business Analyst Additional Expectations

  • Around 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Solution Design

  • Ability to lead requirement workshops with clients independently

  • Ability to analyze complex problems and propose solutions that fit both business and technology constraints

  • Ability to design AS-IS / TO-BE processes and perform GAP Analysis systematically

  • Ability to control scope and assess change request impact

  • Professional communication with executives, clients, development teams, and project teams

  • Ability to review requirement documents and coach Junior BAs

  • Ability to define BA working standards and improve deliverable quality

  • Understanding of enterprise systems and ability to connect business processes with technical solutions
