What you'll do

• Own the technical architecture and design direction for both consulting engagements (Odoo ERP, custom software) and internal product development (Genesis AI Platform)

• Lead Agile ceremonies from a technical perspective — sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospectives — ensuring the team delivers incrementally with quality

• Build, mentor, and grow an engineering team — conduct code reviews, pair-program on hard problems, create individual development plans, and raise the team's overall capability

• Bridge business and technology: translate client requirements and product vision into actionable technical designs, architecture decision records (ADRs), and implementation roadmaps

• Drive engineering excellence through CI/CD automation, testing strategy, coding standards, and systematic technical debt reduction

• Evaluate, prototype, and adopt new technologies — from AI/ML frameworks to cloud-native tooling — keeping the team's stack modern and competitive

• Manage release planning, deployment approvals, and production incident response across multiple concurrent projects

• Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders in consulting projects — present technical solutions, lead discovery workshops, and provide trusted advisory

• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 29110-4-1:2018 processes across all engineering deliverables

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of hands-on software development with 2+ years leading engineering teams in consulting or product companies

• Strong system design and architecture skills — microservices, API design, event-driven patterns, and scalable data models

• Proficiency in modern stacks: TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or Go; experience with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks

• Hands-on experience with DevOps and cloud infrastructure — CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices with experience running sprints, managing backlogs, and delivering iteratively

• Experience with Odoo ERP development (module architecture, ORM, security model) is a strong advantage

• Proven ability to context-switch between multiple projects and balance consulting delivery with product innovation

• Strong client-facing communication skills — able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Passion for mentoring engineers, building team culture, and driving continuous improvement
