Responsibilities

  1. Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
  2. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
  3. Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
  4. Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications
  5. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  6. Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates [Company X] across primary market segments

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in product design or engineering
  2. Previous experience in software and web development
  3. Demonstrable knowledge of SEM (search engine marketing) and online advertising
  4. Strong experience in a dynamic product management role
  5. Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle
  6. High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams
  7. Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies
  8. Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
